Rumor of Ronnie Radke kicking out band members denied

According to PupFresh, Ronnie Radke (Falling In Reverse frontman) has walked out of the band.

PupFresh started the rumor that Ronnie Radke had left the band due to the low ticket sales of the band´s upcoming tour and not due to the upcoming birth of his first child with Crissy Henderson. They stated that they had a close source to the band, who was giving them all the information about the split – the source was then revealed as @BradRadke.

PupFresh´s source statement:
“I’ve been texting one of the members all night, and this is what I’ve gathered:
Ronnie got pissed that the shows on Falling In Reverse’s upcoming tour didn’t sell out and walked out on the band. It was never about Crissy and him having a kid. Ronnie will continue to do Warped Tour this year but with a whole new band.
For what it’s worth, all the money from the new album will go to Ronnie and only Ronnie. He also took all the merch sales from past tours too and kept the profits.
The former members are also concerned that Jacky Vincent may be deported because he is in the United States on a work visa, and with being fired from FIR, he’s out of a job.”

The lead singer had previously deleted all of his tweets increasing speculation.

Crissy Henderson, Ronnie Radke’s wife, denied the rumors on Twitter, saying:

Shame on you both. This is false. End of story. “@pupfresh: @crissyhenderson we got our story from @bradradke who was texting Derek!”

— Crissy Henderson (@crissyhenderson) May 19, 2013

This guy spreads nothing but lies and creates drama. @pupfresh <~~ you’re pathetic everyone RT this story is FALSE! Period.

— Crissy Henderson (@crissyhenderson) May 19, 2013

Can no one give my fucking husband a friggin break???We’re about to have our child and there’s prepping that goes into that! Leave him alone!

— Crissy Henderson (@crissyhenderson) May 19, 2013

This rumor has been reported as false, not only because PupFresh has deleted their statement on their website, Crissy Henderson denied it and because since then Falling In Reverse has released their new single “Fashionably Late”.

Eat a Slice with Me

Olan Rogers, a famous youtuber, created the first completely free “Meet and Greet Tour” funded by the people´s support, which is going in Los Angeles on July 15th.

Olan Rogers created his fan base through his funny youtube videos, but was never able to personally meet them or even to attend gatherings such as Playlist Live and Vidcon, conventions especially developed for people of all ages to meet their favorite youtubers.

Because of that, he decided to create a free “Meet and Greet Tour” called “Eat a Slice with Me” where he could finally spend some time with his fans in person. The concept behind “Eat a Slice with Me” was born since through his own words no one should have to pay to meet another person:

“I feel like it´s just too much money to ask of a supporter in order to meet someone they enjoy watching. These are great conventions and I hear they are a blast to attend but I feel like meeting someone shouldn´t cost an arm, a leg and your wallet.”

This tour is going to various cities and you will not only have the opportunity to meet and talk with Olan Rogers, you also can take pictures, have objects signed by him and be presented with free pizza and free Jones soda!

Although the tour is completely free, you can buy tour supplies – posters and T-shirts and even help by donating a gallon of gas at the official tour website.

As I Lay Dying´s Tim Lambesis arrested for alleged murder-for-hire

On May 7th, As I Lay Dying lead singer, Tim Lambesis, was arrested in Oceanside (California) on suspicion of solicitation of murder charges in an alleged plot to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife.

Authorities began to investigate Lambesis on Thursday (May 2nd) after receiving a tip saying that the singer was trying to hire someone to murder his wife Meggan, but they only formally arrested him after Lambesis allegedly soliciting an undercover police officer to commit the act. Tim and Meggan Lambesis were married for 8 years, before Meggan filed for divorce in September 2012 citing “irreconcilable differences”. The couple had adopted three children from Ethiopia together.

As I Lay Dying frontman pleaded “not guilty” at his arraignment on Thursday May 9th, having his bail settled at $3 million. It is said that Lambesis should make bail. If released he will have no contact with both his wife and three children, also having to wear a GPS monitoring device and accept travel restrictions. If convicted, he could face up to nine years in prison – the maximum exposure for solicitation of murder in the state of California.

Lambesis fellow band members issued an official statement on their Facebook page regarding the band´s frontman arrest

To our fans,

As we post this, the legal process is taking its course and we have no more information than you do. There are many unanswered questions, and the situation will become clearer in the coming days and weeks. We’ll keep you informed as best we can.

Our thoughts right now are with Tim, his family, and with everyone else affected by this terrible situation – and with our fans, whom we love and draw strength from.

Thank you for understanding, and as always, for your support of As I Lay Dying.”

"The secret is that we only do this for the fans," continues James. "Yeah, I know that makes me sound like Bob Geldof or something. But it's true. We only do this to celebrate the music the readers love, and to create new stories and a bit of magic that makes the music world that little bit more exciting than it would be if we didn't get a whole load of stars in a room and say, 'Let's rock!'"

Black Veil Brides at Revolver Golden Gods Awards 2013

Black Veil Brides is an American rock band led by vocalist Andy Biersack, bassist Ashley Purdy, lead guitarist Jake Pitts, rhythm guitarist Jinxx and drummer Christian “CC” Coma.

On May 2, it was held the fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards where Black Veil Brides were nominated for two awards, having won with “In The End” for Song of the Year and making history by being the first band at the Golden Gods winning an award for the third consecutive year.

Black Veil Brides received the “Song of the Year” award, given by Sebastian Bach, while raising a mainly negative reaction from the crowd. The band went on stage, already with a defensive attitude since they were already expecting this reaction, and responded to the haters saying “You motherfuckers should have voted for somebody because Black veil Brides won 3 years in a row” and with vocalist Andy Biersack affirming “I know you all hate us but I´m holding a heavy as shit award…”. Before even receiving this award, Biersack was interviewed by Fuse's TV Jack Osbourne where he gave his view on the haters – “We evoke a lot of emotion in people, so much that they pee in a bottle and throw it at me”.

Despite the hate at the Golden Gods, the band has received a lot of support from their fan base. One thing is certain, Black Veil Brides made history at the Revolver Awards by being the first band to accomplish this achievement and that is something that no one can take it away from them.

Falling In Reverse release new music video “Alone”

Falling In Reverse is an American post-hardcore band formed in 2008, which is currently signed with Epitaph Records. In 2011, they released their debut album The Drug in Me Is You and they are currently working on their second studio album, Fashionably Late, which is set to be released June 18, 2013. The band is led by Ronnie Radke (lead singer), along with Jacky Vincent (guitarist), Ryan Seaman (drummer), Derek Jones (rhythm guitar) and Ron Ficarro (bassist).

On May 7, the band released a music video for their first single from their second album – “Alone”. Falling In Reverse embraced a new sound, named Trapcore, which combines metalcore, hip-hop and electronic sounds. Lead singer Ronnie Radke explains this change of direction:

“My dad raised me on metal, but my first serious love was hip-hop. When I heard Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, that’s when I fell in love. I didn’t know what the hell they were talking about, the beats were intertwined, and it came inside of me and took me over.
When we added hip-hop elements I was thinking, ‘Should I do this? This sounds crazy! Are people going to like this?’ Now I’ve never been so proud of something. The final product, Fashionably Late, is the best work I’ve ever done.”

“Alone” has received various critics, both positive and negative, having definitely splitted their fan base into two. Here are some of the opinions stated:

“I personally love Alone. Ronnie has the ability to change up his style & make it work out for the best. It's almost a new genre, screaming, rapping, It's amazing he can do that. I will backup anything he does. He will always be an amazing artist.”

“VERY UNIQUE!! :)”

“I absolutely love it. I love Ronnies new look also, cannot wait for their album!!”

“Well...I think I like the new style but I liked the old Falling in Reverse too. It sounds different but I like it. I'm excited for the new album."

“I'm not too sure if I like this. The chorus is good and catchy, but I'm not sure rapping is the right direction for the band.”

“This song screams "I want to be more popular" unfortunately. I've been a long time Hollywood Dead and Escape the Fate fan, and it feels like Ronnie Radke has some sort of lost identity and not sure what he wants to be... For me, it feels like they need to make a decision.. Are they hip-hop, are they rock or are they rap. If they want to be rap-rock, then fine, but they need to actually find a way to do that without sounding very odd!”

“I like Falling In Reverse but it feels like they're trying to change their sound too much. They should have just stuck with what they were good at if I'm honest...”

“The new song alone is not as good as I had expected it to be.”

Whether you love or hate Falling In Reverse new single “Alone”, one thing is certain, they are definitely making people talk.
