Falling In Reverse Ask For Fan Contributions

Falling In Reverse are asking for fan contribution to help them make a music video for their song “Keep Holding On” off their album Fashionably Late.

The rules were posted on the band´s website:

"Create an image with the lyric that inspires you most from our song “Keep Holding On." Remember, we need art for all of the lyrics, and lesser-used lines will have a higher chance of making it into the video!

You can get the lyrics in the description of this video.

Once you’ve made your image, post it to tumblr with the tags #FallingInReverse and #FIRholdon to enter. We’re going to choose our favorites and compile them into one awesome video.

Images should be high-res, and ideally 1280x720. Make sure you post your images before August 30th to be qualified."

Falling In Reverse release second single “Fashionably Late”

Falling In Reverse released a brand new track called “Fashionably Late”, taken from their upcoming album of the same name, which is set to be release on June 17th.

After the controversy over their first single “Alone”, which combined metalcore, hip-hop and electronic sounds, their second single seems to be more faithful to their previous sound seen on “The Drug In Me Is You”.

Here are some of the opinions stated:

so much better than "Alone"

“It sounds way better then 'alone' it's more like falling in revers now xoxoxox”

“This is so much better than Alone it's unreal. Alone is possibly the worst thing I've heard from this band, but this is more like the old album :)”

“This is waaaay better than Alone. I thought they were gonna change their sound to more of a techno-ish sound when I heard Alone but as soon as I heard this I was relieved. This is the Falling In Reverse I love. Great song c:”

Rumor of Ronnie Radke kicking out band members denied

According to PupFresh, Ronnie Radke (Falling In Reverse frontman) has walked out of the band.

PupFresh started the rumor that Ronnie Radke had left the band due to the low ticket sales of the band´s upcoming tour and not due to the upcoming birth of his first child with Crissy Henderson. They stated that they had a close source to the band, who was giving them all the information about the split – the source was then revealed as @BradRadke.

PupFresh´s source statement:
“I’ve been texting one of the members all night, and this is what I’ve gathered:
Ronnie got pissed that the shows on Falling In Reverse’s upcoming tour didn’t sell out and walked out on the band. It was never about Crissy and him having a kid. Ronnie will continue to do Warped Tour this year but with a whole new band.
For what it’s worth, all the money from the new album will go to Ronnie and only Ronnie. He also took all the merch sales from past tours too and kept the profits.
The former members are also concerned that Jacky Vincent may be deported because he is in the United States on a work visa, and with being fired from FIR, he’s out of a job.”

The lead singer had previously deleted all of his tweets increasing speculation.

Crissy Henderson, Ronnie Radke’s wife, denied the rumors on Twitter, saying:

Shame on you both. This is false. End of story. “@pupfresh: @crissyhenderson we got our story from @bradradke who was texting Derek!”

— Crissy Henderson (@crissyhenderson) May 19, 2013

This guy spreads nothing but lies and creates drama. @pupfresh <~~ you’re pathetic everyone RT this story is FALSE! Period.

— Crissy Henderson (@crissyhenderson) May 19, 2013

Can no one give my fucking husband a friggin break???We’re about to have our child and there’s prepping that goes into that! Leave him alone!

— Crissy Henderson (@crissyhenderson) May 19, 2013

This rumor has been reported as false, not only because PupFresh has deleted their statement on their website, Crissy Henderson denied it and because since then Falling In Reverse has released their new single “Fashionably Late”.

Falling In Reverse release new music video “Alone”

Falling In Reverse is an American post-hardcore band formed in 2008, which is currently signed with Epitaph Records. In 2011, they released their debut album The Drug in Me Is You and they are currently working on their second studio album, Fashionably Late, which is set to be released June 18, 2013. The band is led by Ronnie Radke (lead singer), along with Jacky Vincent (guitarist), Ryan Seaman (drummer), Derek Jones (rhythm guitar) and Ron Ficarro (bassist).

On May 7, the band released a music video for their first single from their second album – “Alone”. Falling In Reverse embraced a new sound, named Trapcore, which combines metalcore, hip-hop and electronic sounds. Lead singer Ronnie Radke explains this change of direction:

“My dad raised me on metal, but my first serious love was hip-hop. When I heard Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, that’s when I fell in love. I didn’t know what the hell they were talking about, the beats were intertwined, and it came inside of me and took me over.
When we added hip-hop elements I was thinking, ‘Should I do this? This sounds crazy! Are people going to like this?’ Now I’ve never been so proud of something. The final product, Fashionably Late, is the best work I’ve ever done.”

“Alone” has received various critics, both positive and negative, having definitely splitted their fan base into two. Here are some of the opinions stated:

“I personally love Alone. Ronnie has the ability to change up his style & make it work out for the best. It's almost a new genre, screaming, rapping, It's amazing he can do that. I will backup anything he does. He will always be an amazing artist.”

“VERY UNIQUE!! :)”

“I absolutely love it. I love Ronnies new look also, cannot wait for their album!!”

“Well...I think I like the new style but I liked the old Falling in Reverse too. It sounds different but I like it. I'm excited for the new album."

“I'm not too sure if I like this. The chorus is good and catchy, but I'm not sure rapping is the right direction for the band.”

“This song screams "I want to be more popular" unfortunately. I've been a long time Hollywood Dead and Escape the Fate fan, and it feels like Ronnie Radke has some sort of lost identity and not sure what he wants to be... For me, it feels like they need to make a decision.. Are they hip-hop, are they rock or are they rap. If they want to be rap-rock, then fine, but they need to actually find a way to do that without sounding very odd!”

“I like Falling In Reverse but it feels like they're trying to change their sound too much. They should have just stuck with what they were good at if I'm honest...”

“The new song alone is not as good as I had expected it to be.”

Whether you love or hate Falling In Reverse new single “Alone”, one thing is certain, they are definitely making people talk.
