Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has been placed on suicide watch while
being at Parc Prison in Wales and is now trying to be relocated to a psychiatric
hospital.

Watkins has been charged with various crimes,
such as sexually assaulting an infant, possession and distribution of indecent
images of children, possession of extreme animal pornography and conspiracy to
rape a one-year-old child.
In December he was arrested in the UK and it was
revealed that Lostprophets singer was charged with a total of 24 crimes.
The singer had reportedly two female co-conspirators
who also attended court. While one is denying all charges, the second one has
already admitted to sexually touching a child and being involved with the possession
and distribution of indecent images of children.
Ian Watkins attorney, Sally O´Neill, is
now attempting to get the singer on medication and moving him to a psychiatric
hospital – “He has been seen by a clinical psychologist and he should be receiving
anti-psychotic medication. He is
on suicide watch five times an hour.”
Judge Eleri Rees adjourned the
hearing until October 14; meanwhile the three individuals will remain in
custody.
