Thirty Seconds To Mars have released a new music video called “Do Or Die” from their latest album “Love Lust Faith + Dreams”

30 Seconds To Mars have caused controversy by asking their fans to tattoo the lyrics of “Do Or Die” on their bodies to appear in the band´s next music video.

 

Fans are able to participate in the “Do Or Die” music video by sending close-up images of themselves tattooing the song´s lyrics on their bodies.

It is requested before, after and during images of the process and it is also necessary that the fans say “I Am The Echelon” to the camera and explain why they decided to do the tattoo.

The idea is provoking an Internet reaction, with many people criticizing the gesture of 30 Seconds To Mars.Also according to the NME, this year, Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari disapproved the fact that, allegedly, the band was prepared to charge about 660 Euros to the fans, for those who wanted to spend some time with the musicians before and after the concerts of their upcoming U.S. tour.

30 Seconds To Mars will perform in Portugal again this year on 29^th October at Meo Arena (former Pavilhão Atlântico).

30 Seconds To Mars as iTunes Festival Headliner

Thirty Seconds To Mars were announced as one of the headliners for the upcoming iTunes Festival.
 

 

The event is going to run over 30 nights and Thirty Seconds To Mars are stepping the stage on 18^th September at London´s Roundhouse.
